Privacy policy for BrushCallSheet

What we collect when you contact us, why we are allowed to hold it, how long we keep it and how you get it removed. Last updated September 4, 2026.

Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is MLJ, SASU, the company that publishes BrushCallSheet, registered in Paris, France under SIREN 934 769 837. The publication director, Jimenez Julien, is the person who reads and answers privacy requests. You can reach him at jimenezjulien42@gmail.com and you will get an answer from a person, not from an automated ticket system.

What the contact form collects

The demo request form on the home page collects exactly the following fields, and nothing else: name (your full name), email (your work email address), company (your studio or business name), role (your job title, chosen from a list), request (whether you want a demo, early access or a quote), size (how many artists hold chairs on a busy Saturday), message (your description of the wedding morning that gives you trouble) and consent (the checkbox recording that you agreed to this policy).

The form also carries three hidden fields that never contain anything you type: a form name used to route the submission, a subject line, and the recipient address. A honeypot field named bot field is included to catch automated spam and is expected to stay empty. Your browser and Netlify additionally record the time of submission and the IP address the request came from, as any web server does.

Why we are allowed to hold it

We process this information on the basis of your consent, which you give explicitly by checking the consent box before sending the form, and on the basis of our legitimate interest in answering a commercial question that you asked us. We do not use your information for profiling, for automated decision making or for any purpose other than replying to you and, if you become a customer, administering your subscription. We never sell contact details and we never share them with an advertising network.

How long we keep it

Demo requests that do not become customers are deleted twenty four months after the last message in the conversation. If you become a customer, the enquiry is kept for the duration of the subscription and then for the period required by French accounting and tax rules, which is ten years for invoices and related commercial records. If you ask us to delete an enquiry sooner, we do it within thirty days unless we are legally required to keep an accounting record.

Who processes submissions

Form submissions are processed and stored by Netlify, Inc., 512 2nd Street, Suite 200, San Francisco, CA 94107, United States, which hosts this website and operates Netlify Forms. Netlify acts as a processor on our instructions. Replies are sent from a standard email inbox. We do not use a customer relationship management platform, a marketing automation tool or a lead scoring service for the contacts that come through this form.

Cookies and tracking

This website sets no advertising cookies and no third party analytics cookies. There is no Google Analytics tag, no advertising pixel from any social network and no cross site tracking script anywhere on these pages. The only technical data recorded is the standard server log kept by the host, which includes IP addresses and request times and is used for security and for keeping the site online. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives the request for the font file as part of delivering it.

Customer data inside the product

If you subscribe, the wedding files you create, including bridal party names, service durations, trial notes and photographs, belong to you. We hold them as a processor so that we can run the service for you. We do not use your customer data to train models, we do not mine it for marketing, and we do not share it with other subscribers. You can export any wedding to PDF or CSV at any time and you can delete a file permanently from inside the product.

Your rights in the United States

If you live in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah or Virginia, state privacy law gives you the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to obtain a copy of it, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of any sale or sharing of it for targeted advertising. We do not sell or share personal information for targeted advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of, but you may still ask us to confirm that in writing. California residents also have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights, and we do not change pricing or service quality on that basis. To exercise any right, write to jimenezjulien42@gmail.com with the email address you used, and we will respond within forty five days.

Your rights under the GDPR

If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability and objection, and you may withdraw your consent at any time without affecting processing that already happened. Requests go to the same address and are answered within one month. If you believe we have handled your information badly, you may complain to your national supervisory authority, which in France is the Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertes.

International transfers

Because our host and forms processor are established in the United States, information you send through the form is transferred to the United States. These transfers rely on the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission, together with the technical measures Netlify applies, including encryption in transit and at rest. If you would rather not have your details transferred in this way, write to us by email instead of using the form and tell us so.

Children

BrushCallSheet is a business tool for working professionals and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under sixteen years of age. If you believe a child has sent us information through this website, write to us and we will delete it promptly. Bridal party members listed inside a customer account are entered by the subscriber, who is responsible for having a lawful basis to do so.

Security and changes to this policy

Traffic to this site is encrypted with HTTPS, form submissions are encrypted in transit and at rest, and access to the inbox that receives them is protected with two factor authentication. If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page and, for a material change affecting existing customers, we will send an email notice at least fourteen days before the change takes effect.
